I spent two years managing the social media program for Caesars Entertainment’s ten Las Vegas resorts. What I built was groundbreaking for the time, a fully integrated marketing and customer service channel being run virtually single-handed. I set the editorial calendar, I created the content, I managed the community.
From 2010 to 2012, my social media empire included Bally’s Las Vegas, Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon (now the Cromwell), Caesars Palace, Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, Imperial Palace (now The Linq), O’Sheas, Paris Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood and Rio.
At Caesars my social media efforts were recognized with the American Gaming Association’s AGA Voice Award for Best Social Media Campaign, and won me the prestigious Caesars Entertainment Chairman’s Award for Guest Service. I was also nominated for the Chairman’s Award for Internal Service and also won a Casino Marketing Masterminds “Sherpie” award and two Romero awards. Vegas Seven magazine also spotlighted the work that we were doing.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal also named me one of ten must-follow Twitter accounts. I’m also a two-time VegasTripping nominee for Best Tweeter in the Trippie awards.
